We have a thriving and enthusiastic junior section.
There are rowing sessions on Friday 4:30 - 6:15 designed for complete beginners and also recreational rowers.
Sixth formers (mainly St Mary Redcliffe Sixth Form college) can come down at 3pm and go out in an eight or a four
and progress to doubles and singles
More expereinced juniors who can commit to racing at weekends, can come down for race training sessions on Wednesday and Thursdays 4:45 - 6:30.
There is additional race training on Sundays - two sessions 12pm and 2pm.
In the winter the evening sessions stop in November and commence again in February/March, but we substitute water training
for circuit training on a Wednesday night and make use of the QEH school gym.
Swim and capsize sessions are held at intervals throughout the year at St Mary Redcliffe school pool.
Get in touch with us at and we can
arrange taster sessions, coaching classes or regular rowing outings for individuals or groups.
A BIG Thank you to all those who helped with the BBQ on Sunday. A very successful day! Well done to all!
Fund raising For those who have noticed that rare sight - parents rowing - the reason is that this years fundraising has started.
8 parents will be taking part in the Boston Marathon in September and are starting training! The aim is to raise sponsorship for a new single for the Juniors.
Please give them your support when you see them!
