Would you like to row at 7.30am on Saturday mornings? How about dark and cold winter evenings on Bristol Docks? And what about those long hot summer evenings to row up the river, watch the wildlife and the setting sun before you pop for a drink with your new friends?
If you answered 'yes' to several of these questions then you should 'Learn to Row' with City of Bristol Rowing Club. Rowers are a sociable and friendly bunch. If you are new to Bristol or just looking for a new hobby, joining City of Bristol will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and learn a new sport.
Each year we run at least one 'Learn To Row' course. In 2009 we ran a mixed course during September with taster sessions in late August.
If you have never rowed before this is the course for you! As the course is very popular we advise you to book a place early to avoid disappointment.

Learn to cox
Can't wait for the learn to row course and want to get involved straight away? Why not learn to cox? We are urgently in need of people who can steer a
rowing boat so our coxes are some of the most popular people in the club! If you would like to learn how to cox, there are no weight restrictions and full
training and support will be given.
