Tickets are now available for the annual dinner on Friday 7th May. Partners and friends are very welcome.

The deadline for buying tickets so we can let the hotel know food choices is 30th April!
Food choices (and your choice of half a bottle of red or white wine) need to be made when you get your ticket, and you can also pre-order extra bottles at a reduced price.
You will not be able to order tickets unless you already have sufficient funds to pay for them so top up your account now. Please allow 3 working days for money to reach the club account.

Very exciting news – the date for the annual dinner has been set and the venue confirmed so save the date!
Friday 7th May at the Berkeley Square Hotel
Plenty of time to dust off the frocks, dry clean the suits and grow out any embarrassing haircuts!

Christmas Party

It's fast approaching the festive season once again and that can only mean it's time for the annual City of Bristol Rowing Club Christmas Party!
It'll be held, in what is fast becoming a tradition, at The Bristol Ram on Park Street (because it's fun and has lots of good food!)
DATE: Saturday 12th December
TIME: 7pm until 2am
THEME: Festive S! - letting you dress up as much or little as you wish so long as it's beginning with S and is festive!
PRICE: £12 (a bargain I think you'll agree!)
There will be a huge, rower-sized buffet (those who came last year and smuggled cheese home will remember the quantity provided!), a cracking DJ to keep you all entertained and dancing, lots of lovely, happy, festive people, mulled wine and perhaps some games thrown in to get you in the spirit!
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Order your ticket on the rowing club website at www.bristolrowing.co.uk/tickets.php and PAY UP ASAP!
We have to pay the Ram in advance, so you need to have ordered your tickets and paid in full by MONDAY 30th NOVEMBER please!
It'll be another great night to remember (or not, depending on how much mulled wine you consume!) and a fantastic end to the year! So book your tickets ASAP, get thinking about your Sparkley outfits and we look forward to seeing you there!

Pub Crawl!

Yes, it’s that time again, the first official social event of the year! Time to take off that lycra, don your party clothes (or at least a clean t-shirt) and come on down to the CBRC pub golf pub crawl. Plan as follows:
Date: Saturday 24th October (the day of Ariel Head so no excuses!)
Time: 7.30pm meeting to start around 8
Venue: Meet at the Avon Gorge Hotel with other mysterious pubs to visit throughout the evening
Theme: None! You’ll be pleased to hear I won out and there will be no fancy dress (this time…)
Your fantastic and dedicated social team are also working round the clock to sort out a spangly Christmas Party for you in December (believe me, no exaggeration) so watch this space for further details…

Juniors Picnic on the Downs - 6th Sept

BRING YOUR PICNIC TO THE DOWNS. There will be a junior event, with prizes and games on Sunday 6th September at 4pm. All juniors are very welcome. We will be based just behind the water tower.
