Surfboat Rowing
As some of you may already know, CBRC has previously entered crews into the UK Surfboat Rowing League over the last couple of summers - and now we intend to race throughout the 2008 season.
The "Bristol Barracudas" have recently acquired a surfboat and all associated equipment, and now YOU have the chance to have a go!
Below is the calendar of events at which the boat will be racing, and there is an opportunity for you to join in. All you need is a crew of four and some speedos!
We will provide the boat, blades and a steersperson (sweep).
The format of the racing is 6 lane sprints out to sea, around a buoy and back to the beach. All crews race at least 3 heats - so none of this "knocked out in the first round" business!

Costs are £20 per person per day (£10 towing, £10 entry).
All you need to do is contact Rus and indicate which events you would like to attend. We can then arrange a little paddle to get you warmed up before the racing action.
